Parents' evening

Parents' evening. All our children's work folders were laid out on tables in the school hall for us to read while we waited for our appointments. My six year old was asked to write a message to her parents on the label for her work.

She wrote: "I am feeln Happy To Day yes I am."

And so am I now.

Aw! That's so lovely. It wasn't exactly a parents evening but the other week we could go into my sons class and their work was laid out. My son was so excited to show me it all, then produced a picture he'd drawn of me and him. I look like I've been pumped up with helium! It was so sweet though to know he thinks of me during the day!
